The ONLY tour guide you need for Thailand Jam was my tour guide for 2 days during my trip to Bangkok. She was an amazing tour guide. During our first day we did a city tour of Bangkok which included a tour of the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, a long tailed boat ride and a visit to Wat Arun. But beyond giving me the basic touristy tour she also took me around to more non-touristy places which was amazing. She showed me the various communities around Bangkok that a normal tourist would not experience. During the second say we visited the old capital of Siam (Ayutthaya). We took a mini-bus from Bangkok to Ayutthaya which was about an hr and a half ride. From there we took a tuk-tuk to the various ruins and temples. For lunch we went to food stalls and restaurants that were unbelievable. (Make sure you try the Pad Thai at Thipsamai). Overall she was very knowledgeable and friendly and I highly highly recommend. I will be returning to Thailand next year and hopefully she won’t be booked so she can be my tour guide again 🙂

Tour with a friend Jam is a young and professional tour guide. My husband and I toured with her for two days (Bangkok & Ayutthaya). Given our short time frame in Bangkok, there is no way we could have seen all the sights without Jam’s knowledge of the city. We visited the major sites, Canal tour (which in hindsight I could have done without), and by far my favorite part of the trip was visiting temples near her neighborhood. The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun are obvious “must-sees” – but they’re also extremely populated with tourists. The temples Jam took us to were so peaceful, and in my humble opinion, even more impressive than the must see sites. Jam took us around her neighborhood and it is worth seeing how everyday life is for the Thai people. Our trip to Ayutthaya was also fantastic – she arranged a private cab driver for an extremely fair rate. Her knowledge of history is impressive, and we had a great time learning about the ancient capital of Thailand. A+ from grateful New Yorkers!

Great Day Visiting Ayutthaya I really enjoyed the day with Jam. We took a day trip to Ayutthaya where I had elected to take public transportation. Jam was great as she gave me the time I wanted at each site and was willing to adjust the schedule as the day went by, giving me various options. I enjoyed the conversation with her just as much or more than visiting the tourist sites. We got stuck on the train back for quite some time, but Jam remained patient and charming all the way through it. Despite the long and hot train ride back, it was a great day!
